Job summary

A recruitment firm is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Controller to work closely with Quality, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to maintain compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Quality Management or related fields, coupled with several years of experience in quality control or supply chain management. Key responsibilities include managing compliance portals, conducting audits, and ensuring data accuracy across documentation processes. This position is based in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Qualifications

• Lead Auditor qualification and Regulatory Affairs knowledge are advantageous.
• 3–5 years in a compliance, quality, or supply chain role preferred.
• Training/Knowledge of BRCGS/IFS Awareness and Internal Auditor (ISO 9001/FSSC 22000) required.

Responsibilities

• Manage client and retailer compliance portals.
• Maintain and execute the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Conduct internal, supplier, and external audits.
• Compile and verify farm-to-bottle traceability documentation.
• Facilitate mock recalls and traceability tests.
• Ensure data accuracy across ERP, QMS, and compliance platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement in compliance and documentation processes.

Job description

We require a Supply Chain Quality Controller. You’ll work closely with our Quality, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to uphold standards aligned with BRCGS, IFS, SAWIS, DAFF, Organic (EU / US / UK), Fairtrade, and IPW requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
• Tertiary Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Quality Management, Food Technology / Food Science, or Supply Chain Management
• Lead Auditor qualification, Regulatory Affairs knowledge (advantageous)
• 3–5 years in a compliance, quality, or supply chain role (wine or food manufacturing preferred)
• Training / Knowledge of HACCP (Intro + Practitioner), BRCGS / IFS Awareness and Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 / FSSC 22000)
• Organic, Fairtrade & IPW standards
• Experience with SAGE or SAP
