Job summary

Takealot Fulfilment Solutions (TFS) in Cape Town seeks a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our logistics team. You will monitor hub performance, coordinate with Customer Service and delivery hubs, and help ensure timely, accurate deliveries for a fast-paced e-commerce operation.

The role requires solid Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate across levels. Matric with a tertiary qualification in supply chain is preferred, with 1–2 years of admin

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Degree or Diploma in Supply-Chain/Logistics is advantageous.
• Min 1-2 years experience in an administrative role preferably in supply chain/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hub performance and perform continuous inspections.
• Refer operational issues to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
• Recommend changes to improve procedures and manage customer expectations.
• Be the point of contact for Customer Service and TDT delivery hubs.
• Generate reports to keep hubs and franchise managers informed.
• Capture data in systems to keep deliveries up to date.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring the TDT hubs performance by performing continuous inspections
• Referring operational issues and/or problems in a timeous and effective manner to the relevant stakeholders for resolution
• Recommending changes to management and compliance management to improve procedures so that customer expectations are managed or exceeded
• Being point of contact for Customer Service and TDT delivery hubs, ensuring efficient and accurate query resolution
• Report generation, so that hubs, the hubs' franchisees, and Franchise managers are aware of their current performance
• Data capturing into the respective systems to ensure business and customers are up to date with deliveries
• Quality control of data
• Other duties and tasks as assigned

Competencies/Skills

• Ability to read and write in English and interpret written instructions
• Confidence in sharing information and providing feedback
• Solid communication
• Good working knowledge of internet browsers, MS Excel (advanced) and MS Outlook
• Basic math skills and sound mathematical reasoning
• Must have an organised approach to task completion and great attention to detail
• Ability to solve problems by analysing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job
• Able to communicate with all levels of management
• Strong organisation skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively complete work records with strong attention to detail.

• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as required
