The Role : Supply Chain Coordinator

This role supports the Operations Manager in coordinating the supply chain and ensuring effective handling of customer queries, orders, and stock processes. You will oversee supply chain activities, compliance, customer service, staff supervision, and cost control to support smooth operations within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and capture stock on SAP, ensuring accurate and timely distribution
  • Oversee stores control, stock counts, deliveries, inventory, damages, and redundant stock
  • Monitor and manage consignment stock levels and reporting
  • Create purchase requisitions and ensure accurate SAP coding
  • Coordinate and compile daily / weekly / monthly reports for management
  • Supervise staff schedules, training, and performance appraisals
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and address service issues proactively
  • Contribute to budget planning and monitor expenditure against financial guidelines
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements
About You

Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field (NQF 6)

  • Up to 5 years experience in a supply chain role within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong planning, organizational, and supervisory skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proactive and action-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Customer-focused and resilient under pressure
  • Able to build relationships and work effectively in cross-functional teams
