Job summary
A recruitment agency in Johannesburg is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support their Demand Planning Team in data administration and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have data administration experience and strong Excel skills, assisting in accurate planning and order processes while ensuring operational efficiency. Qualifications
- Min 1-2 years experience in an administrative or supply chain support role (preferred).
- Understanding of data administration systems and practices required.

Duties
- Highly detailed orientated to support the Demand Planning Team
- Maintain accurate data, facilitating smooth order processes and support operational efficiency across the Supply Chain
- This role is essential in enabling timely and accurate planning, trading and execution
- Input order quantities accurately as directed by demand planners
- Assist with preparing and distributing forecasts to suppliers
- Support the team in updating forecast files and ensuring the accuracy of planning inputs
- Collate and input weekly / monthly sales reports
- Monitor stock availability and escalate potential stock risks or delays
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery times and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with reviewing GRVs and follow up on discrepancies with warehouses
- Support post delivery reviews, ensuring stock receipts match expected volumes and timing
- Help identifying recurring supply or delivery issues for escalation
- Ensure accurate and timely input of all order related and sales data into relevant systems
- Support the maintenance of planning tools, master data and reporting templates
- Assist with data validation and basic analysis to support planning decisions
