AngloGold Ashanti (AGA) is seeking a dynamic Supervisor : Contracts Administration to support the end-to-end procure-to-pay process — ensuring that supplier relationships, contracts, and procurement operations align with our business objectives and compliance standards.
Lead the Contracts Administration Function : Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the contracts administration team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, accurate, and timely contract management services.
Track team performance against KPIs and implement corrective measures where necessary.
Drive Operational Excellence : Contribute to the organization's continuous improvement goals by streamlining procurement and contract administration processes, promoting discipline, and ensuring full alignment with AngloGold Ashanti's Mission, Vision, and Values.
Supplier and Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Support negotiations to secure optimal value and ensure suppliers consistently meet agreed performance, quality, and delivery standards.
Tendering and Procurement Support : Prepare and issue tenders, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in line with procurement strategy.
Support bid evaluation processes, ensuring transparency, fairness, and compliance with internal governance and SOX requirements.
Contract Development and Maintenance : Draft, review, and manage contracts and purchase orders to ensure accuracy, legal compliance, and accessibility.
Ensure all contracts are properly documented, approved, and electronically maintained for audit readiness.
SAP and Data Integrity Management : Maintain and update Outline Agreements, purchase orders, and contract records in SAP.
Ensure contract spend is accurately captured and reported, and that all stakeholders follow approved system processes.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Develop supplier scorecards and track performance against service level agreements (SLAs).
Produce monthly savings and performance reports to demonstrate value delivery and identify opportunities for cost and efficiency improvements.
Compliance and Risk Management : Monitor compliance with corporate policies, procurement procedures, and relevant legal frameworks.
Identify and escalation potential risks related to contract performance, supplier behaviour, or non-compliance.
Team Leadership and Development : Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
Encourage a culture of safety, accountability, and professional growth within the contracts administration team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with finance, operations, supply chain, and regional teams to align procurement and contracting practices with business needs.
Participate in strategic planning discussions to enhance contract efficiency and value creation.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (CIPS qualification advantageous).
Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial / contracts administration role.
Advanced proficiency in SAP, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and sourcing analytics.
Advanced application in Sourcing Processes and Spend Analytics.
Proven skills in stakeholder management, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
Experience in the mining or manufacturing sectors preferred.
