Job summary

A local engineering firm in Richards Bay is seeking an Extraction Maintenance Manager to oversee capital projects and plant modifications. The ideal candidate will have a B Tech or BEng in Mechanical Engineering and a GCC Mechanical Factories certificate, along with 5 years of experience in heavy engineering, ideally in the sugar industry. A strong background in milling operations and technical problem solving is essential.

Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in a heavy engineering environment, preferably in sugar.

Responsibilities

  • Manage capital projects and plant modifications.
  • Lead and motivate the maintenance and operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (ISO 22000).
