Job summary

OneDayOnly.co.za is seeking a detail-focused Retoucher to join our fast-paced studio. You will correct colour, clean up packaging and product images, and ensure consistency across daily uploads in a 24-hour production cycle.

Portfolio of clean finishes, ability to meet tight deadlines, proficiency in Photoshop and RAW processing; comfortable with Capture One; strong organisational skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of retouching, photo editing, or closely related role.
• Portfolio of retouched work demonstrating clean finishes and natural editing style.
• Strong working knowledge of Photoshop including selections, masking, clone and patch tools, Liquify, Gaussian Blur.
• Familiarity with Capture One or another RAW processor; willingness to learn our workflow.

Responsibilities

• Image import and processing: Import RAW files, review, filter and curate galleries, apply colour correction and cropping, convert RAW to JPEG for upload.
• Retouching: Clean up products and foregrounds, retouch by category, light skin retouching where required, keep results natural.
• Handover and admin: Upload finished images, share folders for review, perform weekly backups, keep pipeline updated in Asana and Google Chat.
• Communication and team: Liaise with the Retoucher on handovers and feedback, ask questions, work with a small team.
