About the Role
The Studio Lead keeps our creative and production studio running smoothly.
You’ll be part operations lead, part traffic controller, part people champion.
From managing workflows and allocating resources to supporting the team and keeping clients in the loop, you’ll make sure nothing falls through the cracks and everything runs like a well‑oiled machine.
You’ll be hands‑on in day‑to‑day operations while also shaping how we grow as a studio, bringing entrepreneurial energy and heart for people into everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise timelines, schedules, and deadlines across projects. Allocate work to designers, writers, developers, or other creatives. Track progress and flag risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and budget. Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency.
- Manage team availability and workload. Book freelancers or external suppliers when needed. Oversee use of studio tools, equipment, and spaces.
- Act as the bridge between managers, clients, and the creative team. Translate briefs and feedback into clear next steps. Ensure communication flows smoothly both ways.
- Encourage best practices, quality standards, and growth. Motivate the team, resolve conflicts, and nurture culture.
- Track budgets and project costs. Prepare and send quotes and invoices (templates provided). Track payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Ensure output aligns with creative brief and brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in a creative or production team environment (agency, design studio, marketing team, or similar).
- Strong background in project management, traffic, or studio operations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and deliver projects on time and budget.
- Skilled in resource planning and coordinating internal / external partners.
- Confident communicator, able to translate client requirements into clear actions for the team.
- Familiarity with creative processes and industry‑standard tools.
- Bonus: Experience with budget tracking and supplier management.
