Job summary

A security services company based in South Africa is seeking Freelance Riot and Crowd Control Officers to deploy to various sites across the country as needed. Candidates must have at least a Grade 10 education, be RSA citizens with clear criminal records, and possess a current PSIRA registration. Successful applicants will undergo training and assessments. Remuneration is daily for 12-hour shifts and based on client requirements.

TSU would like to recruit Freelance Riot and Crowd control officers. Riot officers are required to deploy to any site in various parts of the country as requested by our clients. Officers will respond and work away from home most of the time.

Qualifications And Experience

• Valid driver's license (advantageous)
• Own Transport to and from work
• Grade 10 minimum or equivalent (NQF level).
• Current PSIRA registration (Minimum Grade C)
• Security training certification (PSIRA Grades)
• SAPS firearm competency - Shotgun
• Firearm statement of Results, Use and handle – Shotgun Business Purposes

Skills And Competencies

• Articulate and able to communicate on all levels - face to face, telephonically and WhatsApp
• Must be fluent in English
• Be able to handle pressure and stay cool, calm and collective under stressful situations

General

• RSA citizen

Remuneration will be per day (12-hour shift) depending on the type of task at hand and determined by the clients need.

Successful candidates will be expected to undergo assessments, interviews and a polygraph test.

Basic Strike and Riot Training will be given over a three-day period to successful applicants and successful completion of the course will be mandatory.
