Job summary

PwC South Africa Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC) in Johannesburg is seeking an Associate in management level to support high‑quality strategy and transformation projects through research, analysis, and insights for client and internal stakeholders.

You will develop options, test hypotheses, conduct market and stakeholder research, and contribute to reports and presentations. Travel up to 20% and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in any discipline required.
• Postgraduate qualification desirable.
• Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, policy, management consulting or a similar environment.
• Experience with structured research and analysis, problem solving, developing reports and presentations, engaging with stakeholders and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of strategy projects through research, analysis and structured problem‑solving.
• Contribute to strategic recommendations.
• Conduct market, sector and stakeholder research.
• Support strategic assessments, options appraisals and operating model reviews.
• Help build and test hypotheses; synthesise information into clear insights; produce reports, presentations and client deliverables.
• Coordinate assigned tasks and contribute to business development activities where required.
