Job summary

Pacific Land And Building Corporation is seeking a Purchasing Staff member to manage requisitions for multiple properties and coordinate inventory. The role requires strong negotiation skills and proficiency in Excel/Word, with a readiness to work on-site in Binondo, Manila.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in any field.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Preferably less than 1 year in Purchasing/Inventory/Warehouse.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Able to create and administer a task priority list based on company needs.
• Must be dynamic and result-oriented.
• Open to do field work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate requisitions with each property.
• Keep track of inventory and proper usage of supplies.
• Contact suppliers to obtain price, quality, and delivery information.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet requirements.
• Prepare comparative studies of materials requested.
• Recommend best suppliers meeting quality and quantity needs.
• Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of materials.
• Prepare purchase orders and related documents for approvals.
• Follow-up with Accounting on payments to suppliers.
• File and record purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Check deliveries and ensure 100% order accuracy.
• Prepare transmittal reports before dispatch.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Prepare the Request for Payment.
