Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a Senior Proposals Engineer in Gauteng to lead the preparation and submission of technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals. The role reports to the Proposals Manager and collaborates with mining, infrastructure, and project teams to meet tender specifications and deadlines.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, review commercial terms, and ensure adherence to the Proposal Management Plan while delivering fit-for-purpose solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Relevant Engineering degree or diploma.
• 4-7 years' related proposals experience.
• 5-10 years in mining, infrastructure and business development.
• 5-10 years' industry-related project implementation and studies.
• Procurement, Construction Management and HSE knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Compile comprehensive proposal documentation in response to client enquiries and expressions of interest.
• Ensure proposals undergo risk analysis and approvals before proceeding.
• Manage cross-functional teams to deliver technically compliant proposals.
• Review commercial conditions and communicate responsible positions to clients.
• Adhere to the Proposal Management Plan and obtain approvals from leaders.
• Conduct technical evaluation of enquiry documents and liaise with clients to mitigate delays.
• Facilitate initial design and engineering in line with tender specs and requirements.
• Provide ongoing support to project teams during and after award.
