Job summary

Agri Technovation (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Product Portfolio Manager for Grains, Industrial Crops and Potatoes in Wellington, Western Cape. You will bridge R&D concepts to market-ready solutions and support commercialisation through field sales and wholesale channels.

You will coordinate product lifecycles, manage portfolio data, and drive positioning with agronomic value across channels, working with commercial heads, agronomists, and regional sales managers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agriculture, Plant Sciences, Agronomy, or related field; postgraduate is an advantage.
• Experience in agronomic product development, technical sales support, or product management (3+ years).
• Understanding of the agriculture industry, crop production systems, and product performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support full lifecycle of products from R&D handover to market launch.
• Maintain product portfolio database: specs, regulatory status, performance.
• Drive product positioning, agronomic value, and application guidelines.
• Support wholesale and regional sales with training, kits, and protocols.
• Collaborate with supply chain to align availability with demand.
• Work with R&D and commercial teams on development and timelines.
• Coordinate product training across sales teams and develop literature.
