Job summary

An established recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to guide financial decisions and drive profitability. The successful candidate will analyse financial performance, lead costing, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with IFRS standards within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. The role requires a BCom degree, CIMA qualification, and over 5 years of relevant management accounting experience. Exceptional Excel skills and strong analytical abilities are essential. This position is based in South Africa.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in management accounting in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in costing and margin management.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret financial and operational performance to support business decision-making.
• Lead costing, margin analysis, and variance reporting across key product areas.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance packs.
