Job summary

Discovery Limited is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead internal IT audit activities within Group Internal Audit. You will plan and execute audits across IT processes, controls, and governance, ensuring risk mitigation and alignment with business objectives.

The role requires CISA certification, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate with external auditors while mentoring the audit team.

Qualifications

• B Degree or equivalent qualification (Honours / Masters preferred) with majors in Computer Science / Computer Auditing / Information Systems / Auditing.
• CISA is required.
• Experience in conducting financial, operational or IT audits.
• Experience reporting to Audit and/or Risk Committees.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and planning of audits, assignment of staff and resource planning.
• Defining audit purpose, scope and approach for assigned audits.
• Agree audit scope with client and provide final engagement letters for approval.
• Ensuring risks are addressed for audit engagements.
• Provide feedback on planning, execution and reporting of audits.
• Reviewing and signing off planning documents, working papers, and reports.
• Monitor progress and quality of audit work and provide supervision.
• Assist in developing the Audit Universe and Annual Internal Audit Plan.
• Coordinate with external audit as it pertains to IT audit work and evidence.
