Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions in South Africa seeks a meticulous Internal Control & Secretarial Specialist to strengthen internal control, governance, risk management, compliance and company secretarial administration.

You will align local controls with the Global Internal Control Framework, manage audit findings, maintain statutory records and support governance processes with cross-functional stakeholders. The role demands integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Governance or related field.
• 5+ years in internal controls, internal audit, governance, risk management or compliance.
• Internal audit, risk, compliance or governance certification advantageous.
• Company secretarial qualification or governance training advantageous.
• Experience in Big 4/multinational/mining or manufacturing environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Align the Global Control Matrix with local operations, laws, regulations and business processes.
• Perform periodic internal control testing per the Global Internal Control Framework.
• Identify deficiencies, propose corrective actions and monitor to closure.
• Maintain internal control documentation and evidence per Group requirements.
• Coordinate, monitor and report on management action plans arising from audits.
• Maintain statutory company records and governance documentation.
