Placements24 seeks an experienced Information Security Consultant to join our advisory services team, working directly with clients to assess needs, craft roadmaps, and implement security solutions.

The role emphasizes guiding organizations to improve security posture and achieve compliance across industries. It is a hybrid role based in Kimberley, offering diverse security challenges and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in information security consulting or a similar advisory role.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, risk management and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, risk analyses, and gap assessments for clients.
• Develop and present strategic security recommendations and implementation plans.
• Advise clients on cybersecurity best practices, regulatory compliance, and security program development.
• Assist clients in the selection and implementation of security technologies and solutions.
• Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and proposals for client engagements.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and evolving security technologies.
