Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in content creation for various platforms (web, social media, print).
• Experience with media monitoring and reporting.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Familiarity with corporate branding guidelines and communication best practices.
• Knowledge of the Gauteng business environment is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies and plans.
• Draft and edit a wide range of communications materials, including press releases, internal memos, newsletters, website content, and social media posts.
• Support executive leadership with communication planning, speechwriting, and presentation development.
• Manage and monitor the company's online presence, including social media channels and corporate website.
• Assist in managing media relations, responding to media inquiries, and coordinating interviews.
• Organize and facilitate internal communication initiatives, such as town halls and employee engagement events.
• Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels and materials.
• Support crisis communication efforts by drafting timely and accurate statements.
• Conduct research on industry trends and best practices in corporate communications.
