Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Category Manager to lead the Snacks & Confectionery category in Durban. You will shape category strategies, optimize assortment, pricing, promotions, and placement, and partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
Minimum of 6 years in category management or brand management within FMCG.
Proven track record driving category growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement category strategies to maximize sales and profitability for snacks and confectionery.

Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns and in-store activations.
Work with the supply chain to ensure optimal stock levels and inventory management.
Present category reviews and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
