A leading pet nutrition company in Eastern Cape, Graaff-Reinet, is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee their financial accounting, treasury, and accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and at least 5 years of experience in finance, along with proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI. This position involves leading a team, ensuring compliance, and delivering precise financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or accounts payable, including IFRS.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in team leadership and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in variance analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead core financial accounting, treasury, and accounts payable functions.
• Review and approve daily payments and vendor payment journals.
• Support monthly financial reporting and respond to data requests.
• Create and maintain asset codes and the Fixed Asset Register.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and prepare audit reporting support.
