Overview

Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Stores Assistant for the Centurion branch.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving stock, quality checking, handling, and packing.
• Assist with dispatching of stock, quality checking, handling, and packing.
• Process orders (picking slips) from internal sales.
• Ensure the correct items and quantities are pulled, sign on the picking slips and stock bin cards.
• Take customer stock / orders and paperwork to the dispatch area.
• Ensure any cutting is correct.
• Ensure good stock control and administration.
• Attend to customers that come in to collect stock / orders.
• Assist with loading and offloading of stock and packing in correct stock allocation areas.
• Ensure effective housekeeping and safety according to prescribed standards.
• Ensure stores are kept neat and tidy.
• Perform other duties under instruction from the Branch / Stores Manager when required.

Qualifications

• Matric / Equivalent is a MUST.
