Overview
STORES ASSISTANT (PICKER) Stocking products on shelves, doing inventory, and keeping the store organized.
Responsibilities
- Select merchandise from shelves and prepare items for shipping.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, neat, and well organized.
- Pack incoming stock, inventory, and report shortages.
- Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Pick orders as required.
- Seal and tag containers, confirm order accuracy, and sign pick tickets.
- Ensure correct shipping information is attached and move completed orders to shipping area.
- Place containers on pallets, secure with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping.
- Load and unload trucks by using jacks and forkliftsplying.
- Supply with OSHA and other safety regulations.
Qualifications
- 1+ years work experience in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse range of people.
- Proficient with using tools required for this position.
- Proficient organizational skills.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
- Integrity and good interpersonal skills.
