Job summary

A reputable recruitment agency has an excellent opportunity for a reliable Store Person to join a well-established Tyre & Fitment Centre in Eastern Cape. The ideal candidate must have Matric and preferably a relevant qualification in Stock Management. Responsibilities include receiving and dispatching stock, maintaining an organised warehouse, and supporting general store operations. Strong attention to detail and customer service skills are essential. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in stock control/warehouse environment.
  • Reliable and responsible with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Trustworthy in handling stock and finances.

Overview

We have an excellent opportunity for a reliable Store Person to join a well-established Tyre & Fitment Centre in Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and dispatch stock accurately and timeously.
  • Match delivery notes with orders and invoices.
  • Pack and organise stock in the warehouse, ensuring goods are properly marked.
  • Maintain clean and presentable displays, upholding excellent housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Assist with stocktake preparations and participate in stock counts.
  • Manage stock-out book and ensure accurate control of claims/RFC documentation.
  • Handle and safeguard customer goods stored in-house.
  • Support general store operations and perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) essential.
  • Certificate/Diploma in Stock Management advantageous.
  • At least 1–2 years’ experience in stock control/warehouse environment.
  • Previous experience in stock management or warehouse environment.
  • High attention to detail with strong accuracy in handling stock.
  • Team player with customer-service orientation.
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
  • Professional in presentation with good time management.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
  • Trustworthy and honest in handling stock and finances.
