We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to fill the role of Warehouse General Worker / Driver at our Diep River Branch.

As a Warehouse General Worker / Driver, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient operations of our warehouse by accurately picking, packing, collecting, and delivering automotive products. Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsibilities

• Select items from stock based on order specifications and carefully pack them for shipment.
• Inspect products for quality standards and report any discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of goods.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to achieve collective goals and meet customer demands.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and adhere to all safety guidelines.
• Generate vehicle maintenance reports and ensure the cleanliness and representability of the vehicle.
• Arrive at customers promptly.
• Perform additional ad-hoc duties as requested by the Branch Manager.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• Must have a valid South African code 8 driver's licence.
• Knowledge of the Southern suburbs and surrounding areas.
• Demonstrated willingness to collaborate and assist colleagues, including suppliers, transporters, sales staff, managers, and procurement teams.
• Possess physical fitness for tasks that involve standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail, ensuring precision in tasks such as picking and packing.
• Ability to work well independently, showing initiative and self-motivation.
• Focus on identifying and solving challenges efficiently to contribute to a seamless workflow.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with diverse individuals and teams.
