A local recruitment agency is seeking stores personnel for equipment picking and packing. Responsibilities include effective communication with production staff, maintaining stock controls, and performing regular stock-takes. Candidates must have a Matric, prior experience in a similar role, and be prepared to work shifts. A valid forklift licence and SAP knowledge are advantageous.
Picking equipment as per picking list issued by the production foreman / factory manager or sales offices.
Packing equipment as per requirement from production facilities.
Communicating effectively with all production staff and stock operating personnel.
Checking stock quantities and order validity of all components received from suppliers.
Stores personnel must be prepared to work overtime to process late/ urgent orders that require picking, packing and issuing on the same day.
Stores personnel must keep their work area and stores neat and tidy.
Maintaining accurate stock controls and ensuring that the physical and electronic stock levels are always in sync.
Performing stock-take functions on a regular basis.
Other general store duties.
