Job description

We are excited to invite you to join the Mr Price Group Store Manager Talent Pool for our Mr Price Cellular Stores!

By joining this talent pool, you will be among the first to be considered for upcoming Store Manager positions for Mr Price Cellular in Gauteng.

The Store Manager will lead and manage the daily operations of a Mr Price Money Cellular store to ensure that the overall objectives, store targets, innovation initiatives, and customer service standards are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities include:
  • Stock Management: Ensure accurate receipt, unpacking, merchandising, and replenishment of stock; monitor and manage stock levels; oversee stockroom maintenance; authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and repairs.
  • Sales Growth & Profitability: Analyze sales and profitability reports; monitor product performance; identify opportunities to increase sales and brand awareness; ensure compliance through various audits and reports.
  • Customer Experience Management: Implement customer experience processes, including visual standards, feedback, and housekeeping.
  • Leadership & Development: Lead and motivate the team to achieve KPIs; identify training needs; manage recruitment and performance; implement innovation initiatives from Head Office.
Minimum Requirements:
  • NQF level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a store management position.
  • Knowledge of retail trade, brand management, customer service, cellular, mobile, new accounts, and insurance products.
