SUMMARY : Store Man / Warehousing based in Cape Town

POSITION INFO : STOREMAN -POS25252

Based : Park Lands; Cape Town

Salary : R12000.00 to 15000.00 pm

Qualification & experience

• Matric
• 2-5 Years’ experience in a warehouse / storeman role
• Computer literacy (experience with warehouse management systems – SAP advantageous)
• Valid forklift license (advantageous)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to overtime when required

Duties (not limit to)

• Ensuring the Head of Stores and Production Control are informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering.
• Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet customer requirements. With the Head of Stores, maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas and all current Health and Safety legislation is observed. Including basic “house-keeping”.
• Delivery and collection of product and material as required.
• Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company.
• Keep inventory management system up to date.
• Carry out regular stock take.
• Pick up and deliver products using forklift.
• Organize and deliver goods from stores to the relevant department as required.
• Liaise with suppliers and handle queries relating to delivery and stock discrepancies.
• Perform incoming inspections and manage both customer and supplier return.
