Job summary

A leading retail company in Pretoria is looking for a Store Manager to ensure efficient store operations and service excellence. You will lead a team to meet sales, profit and compliance goals, manage stock and expenses, and drive customer service initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of retail management experience, a strong understanding of financial management, and excellent leadership skills. This is a permanent position offering market-related remuneration.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in store management role in retail/FMCG.
  • Experience with budgets, profit and loss statements, and financial ratios.
  • Extensive people management experience of a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and maximize store sales while tracking daily and monthly targets.
  • Manage operational activities including expenses, stock management, and housekeeping.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained.
  • Schedule staff according to the Group's labour policy.
  • Execute customer service initiatives to enhance customer experience.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to meet business objectives.
