Job summary

Rand Water in Vereeniging is seeking a Supervisory Inventory role to manage stock movements, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and SHEQ standards.

You will oversee pulling/packing, ensure timely direct purchases, monitor fuel handling, and uphold safe operations with Rand Water vehicles and forklifts. Grade 12 and an Inventory/Financial qualification are required, plus 3+ years supervisory experience and SAP/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)
• Inventory /Financial (NQF Level 6) qualification
• Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity within an Inventory Environment
• Computer literate - Intermediate to advance in Excel, MS Word and SAP
• A valid Code B Driver's license and the ability to pass RW's driving test

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the pulling, packing and binning of stock
• Ensure direct purchases are delivered accurately on time
• Monitor and Minimize fuel spillages
• Ensure all legislative and compliance requirements are met
• Ensure good house keeping practices are adhered to
• Supervise and monitor the receipt and issue of stock as per procedure
• Efficient and prompt handling of queries/complaints pertaining to stock and/or service delivery.
• Assist with supervising and monitoring the safe receipt, issue and storage of fuel.
• Run material replenishment process on a weekly basis / as and when required.
• Create and release requisitions promptly.
• Monitor and maintain the QMS ISO 9001.
• Managing sectional legal compliance.
• Constant SDS maintenance and monitoring.
• Safe and responsible handling and usage of Rand Water vehicles, including forklifts.
