Placements24 is seeking a reliable Stockroom Assistant to support its Soweto retail operations. You will help manage the stockroom, process and store merchandise, and prepare items for the sales floor. This entry‑level role offers exposure to retail logistics and inventory control.

You will join a team focused on accuracy and efficiency, with flexible hours suitable for part‑time employment and on‑the‑job training to build your inventory management skills.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to stay organized and manage stock effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock records.
• Capable of following guidelines and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move stock as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming stock, verifying against purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom to be clean, safe, and efficient.
• Assist in replenishing the sales floor with merchandise as needed.
• Help with inventory counts and stocktaking procedures.
• Identify and report damaged or missing stock.
