A leading agricultural firm in the Hoedspruit Area seeks an experienced Stock Manager to oversee all aspects of stock operations within the packhouse. The role includes maintaining stock levels, managing supplier relations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in stock management, preferably in packhouse/agricultural industry.
  • Training in HACCP, BRC, FSSC, SIZA, Health & Safety is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain optimal stock levels and ordering practices.
  • Record and reconcile daily deliveries and usage.
  • Manage stock systems for ordering, receival, usage, and waste tracking.
  • Ensure hygienic, organized, and space-efficient store areas.
  • Liaise with suppliers outside central procurement.
  • Prepare detailed operational and variance reports.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, and resource usage.
  • Ensure compliance with various health and safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate stock staff.
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Drive continuous improvements in stock control.

  • Experience: 5+ years in stock management (preferably in packhouse/agricultural industry).
  • Skills: Strong systems knowledge and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Leadership, negotiation, and communication capabilities.
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Advantageous: Training in HACCP, BRC, FSSC, SIZA, Health & Safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
