As the Stock Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every stock movement is correctly recorded, reconciled, and accounted for. You will work closely with warehouse teams, third-party inspectors, and production staff to guarantee seamless operations and reliable reporting. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual who thrives on precision, structure, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily packaging and packed stock counts in collaboration with third-party inspectors.
  • Reconcile production outputs, warehouse receipts, and stock transfers.
  • Capture all stock movements accurately on SAGE to ensure real-time visibility.
  • Investigate and resolve stock variances promptly.
  • Conduct random spot checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Support inter-branch transfers and ensure stock availability for customer orders.
  • Perform month-end reconciliations and report on stock losses or gains.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of stock control experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in SAGE Pastel and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Assertive communicator who can address and resolve stock discrepancies effectively.
