Job description

We are looking for a Stock Controller - Assembly based at our Head Office in Denver.

About the role

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for stock control functions, including :

  • Ensuring all received stock conforms to required specifications.
  • Receiving and binning the correct stock items and quantities.
  • Accurate stock control within the ERP system.
  • Housekeeping and SHE responsibilities.
  • Assisting with stock counts and managing stock returns.
  • Verifying stock availability for planned jobs.
  • Allocating picking slips and assisting with stock picking when needed.
  • Transferring stock quickly and accurately between warehouses.
  • Maintaining proper documentation when handing goods over to manufacturing.
  • Receiving stock back from manufacturing weekly to reduce unused stock.
  • Maintaining a daily picking schedule to minimize manufacturing downtime.
About you
  • National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed).
  • 2 – 5 years experience as a stock controller.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory systems.
  • Forklift and reach truck licenses are advantageous.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team.
  • Compliance with all policies, procedures, and instructions.
  • Product knowledge and a strong sense of responsibility.
