What You'll Be Cooking Up:
Inventory Oversight & Reconciliation
- Monitor POS system files and stock records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and investigate any variances.
- Verify store stocktake results and manage manual adjustments where necessary.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and perform variance analysis against forecasts and budgets.
Business Insights & Strategic Recommendations
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across departments.
- Translate complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to group performance initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
Process Improvement
- Evaluate current inventory and reporting processes to identify areas for enhancement.
- Automate recurring reports and streamline workflows to improve efficiency.
Compliance & SOP Enforcement
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly, annual).
- Escalate instances of non-compliance and apply progressive discipline where appropriate.
- Collaborate closely with Operations to maintain procedural integrity.
Financial Reconciliation
- Align stock count processes with accounting timelines and reporting cycles.
- Support payment reconciliation and contribute to accurate financial reporting.
- Monitor food and paper cost gaps, as well as unit contribution metrics, to ensure financial alignment.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years in business/financial analysis; FMCG, retail, or audit experience beneficial.
- Certification in Business/System Analysis preferred.
- Experience in FP&A, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
- Skilled in managing stock controllers and warehouse operations.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI; ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics).
- Strong understanding of financial systems, controls, and reporting.
- Proficient in SOP development, risk management, and data visualization.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Strong planning, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- High integrity and adherence to procedures.
- Effective communicator across all levels, with adaptable engagement style.
