A reputable organisation in George is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Controller to join their operations team. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional with experience in stock management who thrives in maintaining accuracy solving problems and ensuring smooth operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor accurate stock records including stock in / out transfers and returns
  • Conduct cycle counts and full stock takes to ensure the integrity of stock data
  • Investigate variances and investigate discrepancies when necessary
  • Collaborate with procurement warehouse and operations teams to manage stock levels effectively
  • Maintain system records and ensure that documentation is complete and up to date
  • Assist with implementing stock control systems and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and present reports on stock performance losses and reorder requirements
Requirements
  • National Diploma or higher in Logistics Inventory Management or a related field
  • 23 years experience in a stock control or inventory-related role
  • Strong understanding of inventory management processes and systems
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software
  • Strong attention to detail accuracy and problem‑solving abilities
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
