Duties and Responsibilities

Stock Control and Store Room Management
  • Conduct accurate daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts, following company stock-taking procedures and policies.
  • Ensure correct rotation of all stock in store rooms using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
  • Manage storage logistics, including:
    • Proper organisation and storage of goods to prevent loss, spoilage, or damage.
    • Issuing and dispatching stock to relevant outlets accurately and timeously.
    • Track and document all stock movements and variances, reporting discrepancies to the Kitchen Manager.
Stock Ordering and Stock Level Monitoring
  • Monitor minimum and par stock levels consistently to prevent stock shortages.
  • Prepare and submit accurate stock requisitions for approval in line with outlet demands.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in stock ordering processes, ensuring timely replenishment of all required ingredients and supplies.
Food Preparation and Production
  • Prepare bulk stock items according to standardised recipes for Wing It, Flyerz, and Pablos.
  • Portion and package bulk-prepared items accurately to meet operational needs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and quality standards during all preparation tasks.
Recipe Compliance and Development
  • Ensure all prepared products strictly comply with standard recipes and portion controls.
  • Support management in testing and developing new recipes.
  • Provide input and feedback during recipe development to improve efficiency and consistency.
General Duties
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the store rooms and prep areas at all times.
  • Report any equipment faults, hygiene risks, or operational issues immediately to management.
  • Perform any reasonable ad‑hoc duties within scope of role, as directed by the Kitchen Manager or senior management.
Performance Expectations
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity in all stock-related activities.
  • Consistently apply FIFO and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure timely preparation of required stock without compromising quality.
  • Work collaboratively with chefs, managers, and other team members.
