A logistics company in Boksburg is seeking a Stock Controller to oversee stock levels and minimize losses while collaborating across purchasing and warehouse functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be self-motivated. Responsibilities include managing stock discrepancies, developing management strategies, and conducting stock takes.
The role of Stock Controller is a newly created one with the main objective being to operate as a key link between Purchasing, Operations and Warehouse functions. This will involve monitoring stock levels, movements, locations and a strategic use of space and processes. The aim of the role is to continually reduce the number of stock losses, write offs and customer / supplier stock queries year on year.
The individual will need to be able to work independently and be self-motivated. They should also process strong problem-solving skills and have a keen eye for detail.
