Overview

Job title: Staff Accountant

Working Hours: M-F 9-5 MST

Salary: 1400-2000 USD (final salary offer will still depend on client's discretion)

About the company: A fast-growing healthcare organization with 260+ employees, scaling to ~300 this year. We value accuracy, ownership, and reliability and are centralizing finance operations by bringing bookkeeping in-house.

Role Overview: We are seeking a senior-level accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting, multi-entity bookkeeping, payroll support, and light HR admin. This hands-on role reports to the Controller with dotted-line exposure to HR.

Key Requirements:

  • Mid-senior accounting experience
  • Comfortable with accounting + HR admin tasks
  • Bring critical finance operations fully in-house
Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance:

  • Take over bookkeeping from external firm
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Support multi-entity accounting (14 entities), intercompany transactions, and payroll
  • Ensure financial reporting accuracy with Controller

HR & Admin Support:

  • Assist onboarding/offboarding and HRIS updates
  • Support internal HR documentation and admin workflows
