Responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be an essential member of URW's Infrastructure Team. You will be responsible for operations and system engineering. To ensure URW provides optimal experience, this person will be skilled at engineering, automation, monitoring and scripting to best meet the needs of URW's business objectives. You will work with everything from payment systems to our core business systems in creating robust and highly scalable software systems that handle high demand.

Minimum Requirements

• You will support and optimize workloads in GCP.
• You will have a solid understanding of agile practices and DevOps.
• You will participate in all Infrastructure projects as a well-rounded Infrastructure / DevOps generalist.
• You will define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for CI / CD, automation, and related topics.
• Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Desire to build tools and automation.
• Ability to think creatively and invent new solutions to tough cutting-edge problems.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced cross-functional teams.
• 2 years relevant experience with VPC, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Logging, Load Balancing (NLB / ALB).

Additional Experience

• Experience creating playbooks and roles for Ansible.
• GCP Certification preferred.
• AWS experience is a plus.
• Strong in at least one programming language. , Python, or Ruby are great.

Shell languages (or config management tools) do not count. Compensation Exempt, $ per year + Annual Discretionary Bonus. Only local Los Angeles metro area candidates will be considered.
