Curro is seeking a YES Programme Candidate: Sport (part-time) at St Dominics in Newcastle to commence duties in January 2027. Join Curro to help learners discover their love for fitness, teamwork and fun while supporting coaches and shaping positive school culture.

The role involves coaching support, learner motivation, event logistics, and administrative tasks, with a fixed 12-month term. Preference for local, energetic applicants who are unemployed and eligible for SACE where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ages 18–34 and South African resident.
• Must be previously unemployed.
• 12-month fixed-term contract.
• Qualification in Sports Management, Coaching, Physical Education, or related field.
• Living close to the Curro school applying for.
• Energetic and sporty individuals to support learners' fitness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coaching sessions and practices.
• Encourage learner participation and motivation.
• Support event and fixture setup for matches and tournaments.
• Help track attendance, results, and uniforms.
• Communicate fixtures and events to parents and school community.
• Learn from coaches and attend training workshops.
• Provide basic administrative support and schedule updates.
• Promote Curro ethos and values through professional conduct.
