About The Role

Make a real impact by delivering evidence-based speech therapy to patients with neurological conditions as part of the home visit / OPD team.

What You'll Do

Assess and treat patients with neurological conditions.

Deliver assessment and treatment for adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties.

Design and implement therapy programs to improve communication skills, dysphagia, social interactions, and overall quality of life.

Collaborate closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies.

Keep clear, accurate records of progress and treatment plans.

Be willing to help out at acute and sub‑acute units when required.

Qualifications

You're an enthusiastic Speech therapist living in Johannesburg with a passion for adult neurorehabilitation and client‑centred care.

You have a minimum of 3 years experience in adult neuro rehab and you're ready to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and bring innovation and compassion to your role.

Experience in AAC, voice and chronic dysphagia is an advantage.

You're confident to work independently in clients' homes and the OPD setting.

You collaborate well with families, carers, and MDT to support functional communication and quality of life.

You are looking for flexibility in your working day (we can accommodate an arrangement of hours per week).
