We're looking for a dynamic Leasing Manager to join our Specialty Leasing team , where innovation meets opportunity.
In this fast-paced role, you'll lead short-term leasing initiatives across high-visibility spaces—including common areas (RMUs / Kiosks) , local in-line units , and permanent kiosks .
From new deals to renewals and amendments, you'll be the architect of retail activations that energize our iconic Los Angeles destinations.
Reporting directly to the VP of Leasing , you'll bring sharp financial insight, top-tier communication skills, and a pulse on emerging market trends.
Your work will help curate a first-class retail experience that captivates shoppers and elevates our brand.
As a key player on the URW Sales Team , you'll collaborate across specialties—from permanent leasing and brand ventures to immersive events—driving innovation and impact at every turn.
Responsibilities
- Meet / Exceed revenue goals for assigned properties
- Conduct comprehensive identification of prospective business leads across multiple sectors, including local, regional, and national retail organizations, branded experiential activations, temporary inline, kiosk operations, and alternative commercial formats.
- Own the full sales cycle : Source and negotiate all new deals, renewals, amendments and prepares / sends all documents for execution
- Develop strategic rent parameters and revenue targets for each property through detailed analysis of sales performance, existing long-term leases, and overarching financial objectives
- Create / maintain specialty program that aligns with the overall company and asset strategy
- Develop deep market understanding and competitive analysis by understanding sales, traffic trends, demographics, and leasing visions for any assigned property
- Execute a center-specific merchandising strategy that supports local business development with timely and relevant concepts
- Maintain financial budget and forecast reports
- Traveling to assigned centers and become expert in local markets
Qualifications
- 1-3 years' experience in a high-volume sales-oriented position
- Solid relationship building and negotiation skills to successfully close deals
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles including budgeting & forecasting
- Strong written and oral presentation skills
- Authentic learner who tackles new challenges, using both successes and failures to guide growth
- The ability to gain the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Goal oriented and driven to achieve results
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Excel) and experience with Salesforce and DocuSign a plus
- Able to identify and utilize all available platforms to generate leads i.e., social media
- Must be able to overcome obstacles and work cross-departmentally to achieve goals
