Placements24 is seeking a Specialized Surface Cleaner to service Upington, Northern Cape. The role focuses on expert cleaning, restoration, and maintenance of polished concrete, natural stone, resilient flooring, and architectural finishes in commercial settings.

You will assess surfaces, select methods, apply sealants and coatings, and ensure the highest quality finish while complying with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in specialized surface cleaning, floor care, or restoration.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining advanced cleaning and restoration equipment.
• Knowledge of various surface types and the appropriate cleaning and treatment methods for each.
• Experience with chemical treatments, sealants, and protective coatings is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a high-quality finish.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work within the Upington, Northern Cape area and surrounding regions.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including the safe use of chemicals.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order and properly stored.
• Manage work schedules and coordinate with site managers for project completion.
• Provide basic training or guidance to junior team members if required.
