Mediclinic Kloof in Pretoria is seeking a Professional Nurse Specialised - High Care to deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care in a bustling high care unit.

The role requires a Degree/Diploma in General Nursing with postgraduate qualifications preferred. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, document nursing interventions accurately, manage stock and equipment, and foster a learning environment to develop staff competence.

Qualifications

• Infection prevention and control.
• Pharmacology knowledge for nursing care.
• Scientific nursing principles and process.
• Nursing processes and procedures.
• Develop/ modify a nursing care plan.
• Basic life support trained (ACLS; ATLS; PALS for specialised wards).

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
