Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Specialized Courier Driver to handle time-sensitive transport of medical specimens and pharmaceuticals in the Randburg area and surrounding regions. The role requires strict adherence to handling protocols and confidentiality, with vehicles equipped for precise temperature control.

You will manage routes within Randburg and greater Johannesburg, perform routine vehicle checks, and maintain thorough logs.

Qualifications

• Valid SA driver’s license (Code 10/EC preferred) with a clean driving record.
• Experience with sensitive or regulated materials is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of healthcare logistics and temperature-controlled transport is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Transport medical specimens, diagnostic samples, and pharmaceuticals adhering to strict timelines and temperature requirements.
• Ensure safe handling and secure transportation of all sensitive materials with chain of custody.
• Operate specialized vehicles with functioning refrigeration units.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes within Randburg and greater Johannesburg.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks and report issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
