Job summary

Mediclinic in Mpumalanga is recruiting a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care in accordance with the Scope of Practice. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to maintain high standards of patient care.

You will be responsible for accurate nursing documentation, infection prevention, managing stock and equipment charges, and contributing to ongoing staff development within the unit.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in General Nursing is essential.
• Desirable: Midwifery and postgraduate certificate/diploma in a relevant specialty.
• Computer literacy and nursing record keeping are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
• Create a learning environment that builds staff competence.
• Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
