A global pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Specialist Sales Representative Team Lead - JHB North to drive sales for an assigned region, territory and portfolio.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
- Management of Sales Territory and Portfolio : track and analyse the sales progress versus monthly, quarterly and annual objectives so that the gaps are identified, actions for improvement are taken, and growth is achieved.
- Management, development & coaching of Peers : Provides peers with training and development based on his or her respective needs. Enhance their ability to reach and exceed the expectations, so that the business objectives are met.
- Sales & Business Planning : accurately forecast sales and expenses in accordance with company processes
- Administration : execute internal administrative routines in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Market Intelligence : ensure accurate and up to date healthcare market knowledge for realistic tactical planning and effective execution of market strategies.
- Ensure that the relevant training has been completed according to the training plan.
- Forwarding of all received Product Quality Complaints, Adverse Events and Medical Enquiries to the relevant person in Quality Assurance / Pharmacovigilance / Medical Affairs.
Qualifying Requirements are :
- Qualification – Relevant skills / experience and / or relevant Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 + years selling experience in Pharmaceuticals
- Experience in the Iron Portfolio preferable
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with marketing and selling skills and experience in translating strategy into tactical marketing and selling plans
- People Management Skills
- Effectively managing internal and external relationships and networks
- Key Relationships : Leadership guidance, career development and
- performance management.
- Co-developing strategies and ensuring marketing plans are executable to deliver results.
- Embodies Values & Behaviours in all internal and external interactions.
