Job summary

Exxaro Resources seeks a Specialist, Performance Reporting and Financial Systems to administer EPBCS and HFM, support budgeting and consolidation, and drive data integrity across financial platforms in Centurion, Gauteng. You will partner with IT and finance teams, deliver reports and dashboards, and implement system improvements.

The role requires 1–2 years’ EPBCS/HFM experience, a BCom (Hons) in Financial Accounting, and strong analytical, communication, and training skills.

Qualifications

• BCom (Hons) Financial Accounting degree (Essential/Minimum).
• 1–2 years of experience as a system administrator for EPBCS and HFM financial planning, budgeting, and consolidation systems.
• Proficiency in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools, specifically EPBCS and HFM.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage data integration, accuracy, and integrity across financial systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with IT, finance teams, and external vendors.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulations, and cloud-based financial planning and analysis solutions.
• Familiarity with data mapping, transformations, loading processes, and integration tools.
• Experience supporting end-users through training, system support, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the EPBCS and HFM financial planning, budgeting, and consolidation systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT, finance teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and data accuracy across financial systems.
• Manage metadata, data forms, business rules, security settings, and system configurations in line with business requirements.
• Oversee data integration, mapping, transformations, and loading processes to maintain data integrity and consistency.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes by providing system expertise and end-user training.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports and dashboards within EPBCS and HFM to meet reporting standards and stakeholder needs.
• Monitor system logs, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement timely resolutions to ensure continuous system availability.
• Drive continuous improvements by identifying opportunities for system optimization and implementing upgrades and enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, reporting system changes, updates, and issues in a clear and timely manner.
• Adhere to and promote health, safety, and environmental standards within the work environment, ensuring compliance with SHEC policies.
