Job Summary

This role provides essential analytical and operational support to the Group FRM team. It focuses on accurate data extraction, consolidation, and analysis to produce high‑quality outputs used by senior team members to provide insights on capital allocation across the group. The role helps achieve the goal of maximising returns across the group and supports projects that benchmark performance and improve capital efficiency.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Gathering & Compilation: Source, validate, and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Analyse financial, capital, and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support decision‑making.
  • Management Information Preparation: Assist in production structured and insightful reports, dashboards, and management information packs for senior stakeholders.
  • Project Support: Contribute to FRM projects by performing targeted analyses and preparing required outputs aligned to project goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather inputs, confirm data accuracy, and ensure alignment on recurring and ad‑hoc deliverables.
Minimum Qualification

Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics).

Preferred Qualification

Honours or Master’s degree; CFA or CA(SA) (or working toward these) advantageous.

Experience
  • 2–3 years in quantitative financial analysis, financial modelling, regulatory analytics, or related functions.
  • Experience in preparing management information reports.
  • Exposure to financial services and cross‑functional collaboration.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong proficiency in analytical and data‑driven tools.
  • Solid quantitative and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver within tight timelines.
