WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Special Projects role sits at the centre of fibertime™’s most critical initiatives. This role will coordinate, structure, and drive strategic projects that cut across multiple functions — from finance and legal to operations and growth. The person in this position will ensure that the company delivers on key executive priorities through disciplined project management, analytical thinking, and cross-functional alignment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO (AND LOVE DOING):

• Lead and coordinate high-priority projects on behalf of the CEO.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and cross-functional deliverables.
• Prepare and review financial models, business cases, and investment analyses.
• Support legal and corporate processes related to partnerships, compliance, or transactions.
• Drive preparation of executive materials including board packs, reports, and presentations.
• Ensure alignment between operational teams and executive strategy.
• Manage stakeholder engagements and ensure follow-through on decisions.
• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks.
• Facilitate structured decision-making across business units and executive leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification required (Recently or soon to be qualified CA.)
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to prepare executive-level materials.
• Proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail and ability to translate strategy into execution.

This role combines the discipline of a CA with the agility of a project operator. It is structured, proactive, and highly reliable - able to move seamlessly between financial models, legal documents, and operational teams.
